ESSVE Clout nails are used to fasten roofing felt or other soft materials to the roof or wall. It is intended for use with roof felt, asphalt board, etc. outdoors. Longer dimensions are suitable for nailing board and drywall.

The nail is made of steel with a hot-dip galvanized surface finish for outdoor use, C3. It has a wide head designed to hold the felt in place and to prevent the nail from penetrating the material. Roofing nails are often used in combination with roof felt or wall felt to create a waterproof surface on the roof or wall.

Roofing nails are available in different sizes and lengths depending on the thickness of the material to be fastened. The most common sizes are 20 mm to 40 mm, but there are also longer nails available for thicker materials.

Meets CE requirements according to EN 14566:2008+A1:2009.

The nails are usually placed in a row with about 100-150 mm distance between each nail. It is important to place them at the right distance to avoid the felt coming loose or being damaged by rain and wind.
