SQUEEZER A

Plastic tube clamp Squeezer L is used around plastic tubes type PVC, PE and ABS, etc. for water, sewage,
central vacuum cleaners and the like that pass through fire cell separating building structures. Squeezer L
can ideally also be used for copper and steel pipes together with Armaflex and cables in bundles.

Squeezer L consists of a thin-walled steel sleeve with an internal intumescent body. The sleeve can be opened and
equipped with an eccentric lock that significantly facilitates installation. The sleeve is attached to walls/joist structures with
screws suitable for the substrate. When the sealer is activated by fire or temperatures above 120 C its intumescent body expands quickly and effectively seals the collapsing plastic tube under high pressure.
In order to ensure the seal against cold smoke gases, the gap between the tube and wall/floor should be sealed using FireStop Sealant
3000 silicone adhesive or FireStop 400 acrylic sealant.
