Kniparen (Pincher) is intended for sealing in fire rating EI 60 to EI 120 of different types of cables and conduits that penetrate fire cell boundaries. It can also be installed in existing fire seals of various types.

Kniparen consists of a steel sleeve that on the inside is coated with an intumescent material. When heated,
for example by a fire, the internal coating swells and efficiently seals against the passage of
