COUPLING NUT, CLASS 4, BRIGHT ZINC PLATED

Coupling nuts are manufactured of steel in accordance with strength class 4.

A bolt in a particular strength class fitted with a nut in the corresponding strength class (Technical data, table 7) is designed to form a joint in which one can obtain a preload in the bolt corresponding to the test force without the risk of the thread shearing. Nuts in designs according to strength class 4 are suitable for joining threaded rods in 4.6 grade.
